Hogan's Heroes (1965 to 1971) was created by Bernard Fein and Albert S. Ruddy. Allied airmen held at the fictional Luft Stalag 13 run a sabotage and escape operation from beneath their barracks while the camp's vain Kommandant believes no prisoner has ever got out. (IMDb) The CBS sitcom premiered on 17 September 1965 and ran six seasons and 168 episodes to 4 April 1971, produced by Bing Crosby Productions. Bob Crane plays Colonel Robert E. Hogan, with Werner Klemperer as Colonel Wilhelm Klink, John Banner as Sergeant Hans Schultz, Robert Clary as Corporal Louis LeBeau, Richard Dawson as Corporal Peter Newkirk, Ivan Dixon as Staff Sergeant James "Kinch" Kinchloe and Larry Hovis as Sergeant Andrew Carter. Watches
- Unidentified watch
- Worn by Bob Crane as Robert E. Hogan. Through the run Hogan wears a gold-plated watch with a beige "pie pan" dial on a gold-plated expanding band, usually half-hidden under the knit cuff of his flight jacket. BAMF Style, which read the costume across the series, found no episode that frames it closely enough to name a maker, and notes only that it is not one of the black-dialed Bulova, Elgin or Waltham A-11 field watches issued to US Army airmen in the war the show is set in. The same breakdown separates it from the 17-jewel Lesry seen in close-up on Kinch's wrist in the fourth-season episode "Bad Day in Berlin", which a Reddit thread had taken for Hogan's. (BAMF Style)
