Kamen Rider (仮面ライダー) is a Japanese tokusatsu series created by Shotaro Ishinomori, broadcast on NET (now TV Asahi) across 98 episodes from April 3, 1971 to February 10, 1973. Motorcyclist Takeshi Hongo is transformed by the terrorist organization Shocker into a cyborg but escapes before his brainwashing is complete, fighting back as the world's first Kamen Rider with the wind-powered "Typhoon" transformation belt, alongside mentor Tobei Tachibana and the Tachibana Racing Club.
