Midnight Yatai is a Tokai Television comfort-food drama about Shota Tomi (Tomohiro Kamiyama), a fired top chef who has lost his sense of taste and smell, and Terumoto Hojo (Kaito Nakamura), the food-loving but inexperienced son of a temple's head priest, who run a late-night food cart together on temple grounds. The first season, subtitled La Bonheur, aired 12 April to 14 June 2025; a second season, subtitled Le Monde, moved the cart to a Yokohama commercial basement and aired from 31 July 2025. Kanji Tsuda joined the first season from episode 2 as Norio Okabe; Masanobu Katsumura plays Joji Kaburaya, a perfectionist port-building security guard, in the second season.
