Heritage Auctions' Comisar Collection sale (June 2023, lot 89495) sold nurse Thor Lundgren's working kit as one lot, pale blue All Saints scrubs with Bill Hargate Costumes labels, his hospital photo ID, a Littmann stethoscope, reader glasses, a pocket notebook and New Balance shoes, and a wristwatch of which the essay says only that "the watch is made by Coleman", the camping-equipment name that licenses inexpensive field-styled quartz watches. A nurse's watch is a working instrument, read against a pulse, and a drugstore Coleman is a truthful choice for a charge nurse at a Catholic city hospital; the essay gives no model or style number, and the lot photograph shows the watch small among the scrubs. The essay spells the actor's name Wallen; the credit is Stephen Wallem. (Heritage Auctions)
