Peace Hotel (和平饭店) is a 39-episode Chinese spy drama directed by Li Jun and Bai Tao, written by Zhang Lai, that premiered on Zhejiang TV on January 25, 2018. Set during the 1935 Japanese occupation of Manchuria, it follows bandit-turned-patriot Wang Dading (Lei Jiayin) and underground Communist agent Chen Jiaying (Chen Shu), who pose as a married couple sheltering inside the title hotel while investigating a Japanese biological-weapons program, under the suspicious eye of police chief Dou Shixiao (Li Guangjie). Chen Guanning plays Qiao Zhi Bai (George White), an American spy who uses blackmail material on Wang Dading's mistress to deflect Japanese attention from his own covert activities inside the hotel. The series won the top audience-satisfaction ranking at the 2018 Huading Awards, with Chen Shu and Lei Jiayin also taking its acting honors; no substantial English-language coverage of the production exists beyond its cast and credits record.
