(Wikipedia) Created by Ronan Bennett and reimagining Frederick Forsyth's 1971 novel in a contemporary setting, the series stars Eddie Redmayne as the Jackal and Lashana Lynch as the officer hunting him; it premiered on Sky Atlantic in the UK and Peacock in the US in November 2024, on a reported budget of roughly £100 million, and was renewed for a second season.
