The Peter Sellers Story is a three-part BBC2 Arena documentary directed by Peter Lydon, built almost entirely from the 16mm home movies Peter Sellers shot between 1948 and 1977 and discovered only after his death. Interviews with family, friends, and colleagues, including Bryan Forbes, David Lodge, and Graham Stark, frame footage of Sellers' domestic life, his film sets, and his private circle, among them Stanley Kubrick, Sophia Loren, and Princess Margaret. Licensing disputes over the unreleased home-movie material pulled the original broadcast from circulation soon after transmission; a 97-minute recut, Peter Sellers...
