The Returned

Fabrice Gobert created this French supernatural drama for Canal+, released internationally as The Returned (original title Les Revenants). In a small mountain town by a dam and reservoir, a group of dead residents, some killed years earlier, begin turning up again looking exactly as they did the day they died and with no memory of having been gone, throwing their families into confusion as the town's power grid falters and the reservoir mysteriously drains. Anne Consigny plays Claire Séguret, mother of a teenage daughter who died years before and has just walked back through the front door, alongside Frédéric Pierrot as her husband Jérôme and Jenna Thiam as their returned daughter Léna.
