Shawn Ryan created this FX crime drama about the Strike Team, an anti-gang unit in a fictional, corruption-riddled Los Angeles police division whose ruthless methods keep the streets nominally safer while its leader, Detective Vic Mackey, played by Michael Chiklis, runs an increasingly criminal enterprise from inside the badge.
