The Untamed (陈情令, Chén Qíng Lìng) is a Chinese television series starring Xiao Zhan as Wei Wuxian and Wang Yibo as Lan Wangji, adapted from Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's novel Mo Dao Zu Shi. The two soulmate cultivators investigate a mystery tied to a tragic event from their youth, moving between the present timeline and a sixteen-year flashback across most of the series. It aired on Tencent Video from June 27 to August 20, 2019, produced by Tencent Penguin Pictures and NewStyle Media Group, which owns the underlying intellectual property. (IMDb)
