Ultraseven (ウルトラセブン) is a Japanese tokusatsu science fiction series created by Eiji Tsuburaya and produced by Tsuburaya Productions, the second entry in the Ultra Series, broadcast on the Tokyo Broadcasting System across 49 episodes from October 1, 1967 to September 8, 1968. The alien Ultraseven takes the human form of Dan Moroboshi and joins the Ultra Guard, the elite unit of the Terrestrial Defense Force, to repel invaders from beyond Earth, transforming with the Ultra Eye and reading his remaining strength from the Beam Lamp on his forehead.
