Infinity Ward's 2019 reboot of the Modern Warfare sub-series, rebuilt on a new engine and following CIA officer Alex, Sergeant Kyle "Gaz" Garrick, and Captain Price against the Al-Qatala insurgency in the fictional Urzikstan. Its operator customization introduced earnable wristwatches as equippable cosmetics, one of the first shooters to treat the watch as a collectible in its own right. (Wikipedia)

- Real-adjacent identification: in a campaign cutscene the operator wears a large tactical chronograph (a countdown/tachymeter bezel, a dark dial with oversized 12 and 6 numerals, a sub-dial at the upper left, and a date window near 3) whose design the watch community reads as a Zodiac ZMX (the ZMX-03 "Special Ops" family). It is one of the game's earnable, selectable operator watches (the in-fiction "Keele") and a design homage, not a licensed Zodiac placement. The cutscene dial layout differs from the pictured ZO8524, so the exact ZMX sub-reference is not confirmed from the frame; the identification is the watch community's and the in-game watch system is documented by Infinity Ward.
