Visceral Games' third entry in the survival-horror series, published by Electronic Arts on 5 February 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows. Isaac Clarke and soldier John Carver travel to the frozen planet Tau Volantis chasing the Necromorph outbreak to its origin, with the series' first two-player co-op campaign and a weapon-crafting bench replacing the earlier stores. Isaac's starting Hacker Suit was reworked for this game: the Dead Space Wiki's own breakdown of the "re-iterated" Dead Space 3 version notes a new undershirt and pants, and that "Isaac also dons a wristwatch on his right hand," worn until the suit is retired once the player reaches the EVA Suit. A contemporary launch-week report independently corroborates that the character wears an in-game watch. Electronic Arts and the Los Angeles watchmaker MSTR (Meister Watches) released this 500-piece "CEC Engineer-Class" chronograph for $265 to mark the game's February 2013 launch, branded for the fictional Concordance Extraction Corporation; a contemporary report describes it explicitly as the watch "Isaac Clarke wears in game."
