Demon's Souls is Bluepoint Games' 2020 ground-up remake of FromSoftware's 2009 action role-playing game, built as a PlayStation 5 launch title and published exclusively by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The player enters the fog-shrouded, demon-overrun kingdom of Boletaria as a fallen hero pulled back from death by the Old One, returning between five archstone-linked worlds to the Nexus, a purgatorial hub tended by the Maiden in Black, to bank souls and grow stronger. Bluepoint rebuilt every asset and lighting model while preserving FromSoftware's original level design and punishing combat. Released November 12, 2020. (Wikipedia)
