Dragon's Dogma 2 is the open-world action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom, released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows on March 21, 2024, as a successor to 2012's Dragon's Dogma. The player creates a customizable protagonist, the Arisen, whose heart has been stolen by a dragon, and travels the kingdom of Vermund and the neighboring Battahl with an AI-controlled Pawn party, hiring and dismissing companion Pawns as they explore ruins, hunt monsters such as Drakes and Griffins, and pursue the dragon that marked them.
