HAL Laboratory's second Kirby game, published by Nintendo for the Famicom/NES, released in Japan on March 23, 1993, and in North America that May. It introduced the Copy Ability system that has defined the series since, sending Kirby across Dream Land to recover the stolen Star Rod and restore the Fountain of Dreams from the nightmare-spawned Nightmare Wizard.
