Grasshopper Manufacture's hack-and-slash action game, published in Japan by Marvelous Entertainment and in North America by Ubisoft, released for the Wii on 6 December 2007 (Japan) and 22 January 2008 (North America), with later ports to Nintendo Switch and Windows. Travis Touchdown, an otaku living in the fictional Santa Destroy, California, wins a beam katana in an online auction and is drawn into the ranked-assassin circuit of the United Assassins Association, fighting his way toward the number-one spot while exploring the open world between battles.
