Nihon Falcom's role-playing game, directed by Toshihiro Kondo and produced by Masayuki Kato, released for Windows in Japan on 24 June 2004 and later ported to the PlayStation Portable in 2006; XSEED Games localized it for North America in 2011. The first entry in the Trails series within the larger Legend of Heroes franchise, it follows Estelle Bright and her adoptive brother Joshua, newly inducted Bracers of the adventurer's guild, as they travel the Liberl Kingdom on odd jobs that gradually surface a conspiracy threatening the whole country.
