The Armitron 45/7004BLU is a digital chronograph from the Pro-Sport range of Armitron, the New York budget brand E. Gluck Corporation launched in 1975. Its reference is written with a slash rather than a dash: 45/7004 identifies the case and module, BLU the colourway. Armitron gives a black resin case with a blue top ring, 39 mm across, on a black nylon strap, and an LCD carrying day and date, an alarm and a chronograph with lap timing. It listed at $25. (Armitron) Armitron catalogued the blue version as a women's watch; Amazon, which has carried it since March 2012, sells it as unisex. (Amazon) BLU is discontinued, but the platform is not: Armitron still sells surviving 45/7004 colourways under the name CPU. (Armitron)
