The Baume & Mercier Linea is the women's line the maker launched in 1987, drawing on a 1950s house design and its engraved chapter-ring bezel, and redesigned in 2012 around 27 and 32 mm cases. (Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie) The Linea's defining trick arrived in 2000: a strap-change system that swaps the steel bracelet for leather or satin without tools. The photograph shows reference M0A10070, a 32 mm quartz three-hand model that ships with both bracelet and calfskin strap; its back is solid where the self-winding versions show a sapphire one, and its movement is the quartz calibre BM 10705, with date.
