An unidentified black ana-digi watch worn by Jack Cutmore-Scott as Freddy Crane in Frasier (2023). Ana-digi is the trade contraction of analogue-digital: one dial carrying both a hand set and liquid-crystal windows, so the LCD supplies the calendar, alarm, second time zone and stopwatch that hands cannot show. Citizen built the first of them in 1978, the Quartz Digi-Ana (Citizen); the format had its widest run through the 1980s and has persisted since as a standing niche. The watch here reads as a thick black sports case on a black strap with pushers on the flank, which suits Freddy's Boston firehouse shifts. He wears it turned toward the inside of the wrist, so neither the layout nor any branding is visible.
