The Breitling Chronospace is Breitling's analogue-digital pilot's chronograph: hands over a dial with two liquid-crystal windows, inside a slide-rule bezel. The name has covered different watches. An earlier steel Chronospace, reference A56012, measures 41.5 mm (European Watch Company). In July 2010 Breitling presented a 48 mm steel Chronospace on its Caliber 78, a thermocompensated quartz calibre certified as a chronometer, with a star-shaped bezel, a 1/100-second chronograph, a countdown, a second time zone, a perpetual calendar and a double caseback that amplifies the alarm (WorldTempus, SwissWatchExpo); a black-steel Chronospace Military followed in 2014 (Professional Watches). The watch pictured is the 2010 model with a blue dial on the woven-steel bracelet.
