Bvlgari Diagono X-Pro
More actions
The Bvlgari Diagono X-Pro is a 45 mm sport chronograph Bvlgari released in 2010, its 104-part case mixing steel, titanium, black DLC-coated steel and rubber, echoing Hublot's fusion-of-materials Big Bang. (aBlogtoWatch) The dial is cut from black sapphire crystal rather than the usual lacquered disc, paired with a bidirectional locking bezel graduated for a third time zone. Inside is the Calibre BVL 312, a column-wheel chronograph built on a Valjoux 7750 base but reworked with a bespoke tungsten rotor on ceramic bearings and an added GMT module, running at 4 Hz with a 48-hour power reserve and COSC chronometer certification. (Watchbus; aBlogtoWatch) Bvlgari discontinued the X-Pro within a couple of years, as LVMH's 2011 acquisition pushed the brand's watch division away from steel sports chronographs.
