The Cartier Ceinture is a Cartier dress model introduced in 1927, named for the French word for "belt": its yellow-gold case is a soft octagon with clipped corners and a two-tiered stepped bezel that reads like a belt buckle, and a seven-sided crown tucks into a notch in the outer step. The dial carries Cartier's radial Roman numerals. Produced over many decades in different sizes and in both manual and quartz executions, it is an uncommon sight next to the Tank or Santos, which is part of its appeal to a wearer who wants a Cartier nobody else recognises.

No single reference covers the line.
