A dial close-up in the drama shows the piece's hands are a plain baton shape, where a genuine Cartier Tank uses blued, sword-shaped hands, the detail xbiao.com uses to call the watch out as fake rather than an unusual Tank execution. (Xbiao) The casting carries a real-world echo: Simon Yam has himself worked as a paid spokesperson for the same knockoff brand, so the fictional character's fake watch and the actor's own commercial endorsement point at the same product.
