The Cartier Tank Allongée is a slim, elongated Tank that Cartier no longer makes. Housekihiroba, the Tokyo dealer whose example was lent for filming, says it was first designed as an Asian-market special for slender wrists, and its narrow, slightly stretched case sets it apart from the squarer Tanks beside it. The lent piece is a white gold quartz watch, 27 by 19 mm, with a white dial, Roman numerals and blued hands, sold new in October 2010. The dealer's listing gives no reference. (Housekihiroba)
