The Cartier Tank Must SM SolarBeat WSTA0089 is the small-model steel Tank Must fitted with Cartier's photovoltaic SolarBeat movement, introduced alongside the line's 2021 revival as a sustainability-minded alternative to the standard quartz Tank Must. Light striking the silvered dial through its raised, hand-finish-styled Roman numerals recharges the movement, and Cartier positions the caliber to run for years between exposures rather than the few years typical of a primary-cell quartz watch. The 29.5 × 22 mm steel case keeps the Tank's 1917 rectangular profile and blued-steel sword hands, set on a black calfskin strap with a steel ardillon buckle and a spinel-set beaded crown. (Cartier)
