It is a good deal larger than the digital AE-1000W that shares its world-time function set, and case, bezel, band and crystal are all resin. The analogue half carries only two hands over a printed world map, with no seconds hand and a minute hand that steps once every 20 seconds instead of advancing continuously; the LCD sits below it, holding Casio's standard travel set of 48 cities across 31 time zones, a stopwatch, a countdown timer and five alarms.
