The Casio DBC-310-1 runs module 1478 and sits at the top of the Data Bank Calculator range: the number in the name is the capacity, and the Telememo 300 tier was the largest data bank Casio ever put behind a calculator keypad. Each record holds an eight-character name and a twelve-digit number, sorts itself alphabetically, and lives in EEPROM, so a clumsy battery change cannot wipe the lot. Telememo and schedule memo draw on one shared pool, which means every appointment stored costs a phone number. Casio's own catalogue pitched it as the DBC-150 with twice the room, and the two arrived together in 1996, the year the DBC line split into Telememo 80, 150 and 300 tiers.
