The Casio G-Shock DW-H5600MB-8JR is a metal-bezel member of the G-SQUAD DW-H5600 family, the heart-rate G-Shock in the square shape of the original DW-5000C that Casio announced in April 2023. An optical sensor in the case back reads the pulse and an accelerometer counts steps; training analysis and sleep tracking use algorithms from Polar, and the watch pairs with a phone over Bluetooth to borrow its GPS.
