The Casio G-Shock DW6900MS-1 is the blacked-out military-styled version of the DW-6900, the three-eye digital G-Shock that arrived in 1995 and became one of the line's steadiest sellers. Case, band and buttons are all matte black, the hardware ion-plated to match, with none of the contrast printing the standard models carry. The resin case measures 53.2 × 50.0 × 16.3 mm, is rated to 200 m, and places its light button on the front of the case where a gloved hand can find it. Module 3230 provides a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer from one second to 24 hours, a multi-function alarm with hourly signal, and Flash Alert, which flashes the EL backlight alongside the buzzer.
