Casio G-Shock MRG-B2100
More actions
The Casio G-Shock MRG-B2100 is the MR-G flagship line's take on the octagonal 2100 series: Casio announced the first execution, the black MRG-B2100B, on 28 May 2024 as the first 2100 watch to bear the MR-G name, with a dial whose corrugated, pierced latticework is drawn from kigumi and kumiko Japanese joinery and admits light for its solar cell, a 27-part octagonal bezel topped in the cobalt alloy COBARION, and a DAT55G titanium-alloy band, in a 49.5 x 44.4 x 13.6 mm case weighing 122 g. (Casio) The 2100 line itself dates from 2019, reworking the first G-Shock, the DW-5000C, into a slimmer analog-digital design; the MRG-B2100 is its first fully analog MR-G, with a day sub-dial at 8 o'clock, a date at 3 o'clock, Tough Solar power, radio time-signal reception and Bluetooth low energy. (Casio) Casio has since issued the design in other finishes; an appearance that resolves one belongs on its own reference page.
