The Casio LA670WA-1 is the plain steel execution of the LA670: a 30.3 × 24.6 mm chrome-plated resin case on a self-adjusting stainless bracelet, running module 3191. Its one distinguishing detail is the row of numbers printed above the LCD (30, 20, 15, 10, 5, 3, 1), which are not a tachymeter but the module's seven preset countdown start times. (Casio Operation Guide 3191) The design long predates this 2012 reference: Japan's Good Design Long Life award dates the A168/DBC-610/LA670 group to 1988, and records Casio's own submission describing a watch conceived for businessmen that was later taken up as Ura-Harajuku fashion and sold in Europe as Casio Vintage.
