The Casio SGW300H-1AV is the black resin-strap execution of the SGW-300H, the all-digital Twin Sensor watch Casio introduced in 2010 on module 3202. Twin Sensor names exactly two sensors, a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor, and the distinction between measured and inferred matters: the barometer and thermometer are readings, while the altimeter converts air pressure using International Standard Atmosphere values stored in the module, which is why Casio's own manual warns that the same spot will read differently as the weather moves. There is no compass. The suffix is a band and colour choice rather than a different watch: Casio listed this black resin-strap -1AV, the green cloth-strap SGW300HB-3AV and the steel-bracelet SGW300HD-1AV as variations of one model.
