The Chanel J12 Chromatic extended the ceramic J12 into a new material in 2011: titanium ceramic, a blend finished to a lustrous metallic grey that shifts between black and white as the light moves across it. Reference H2934 is the 41 mm automatic in that material, with a titanium-ceramic case, unidirectional bezel and bracelet closing on a triple folding buckle, a grey dial with Arabic numerals and luminescent hands, a date at four-thirty, a screwed-down crown, sapphire crystal and 200 m of water resistance from a self-winding movement with roughly a 42-hour reserve. Where the original J12 made its case in monochrome black, the Chromatic answered with a grey nearly as hard as sapphire. (Revolution, My Watch Site)
