Citizen 3530
More actions
The Citizen 3530 refers to Citizen's 3530A quartz chronograph-alarm caliber, part of a 35xx movement family the manufacturer developed around 1985 after Seiko's 7A28 established the analog quartz chronograph on the wrist. The 3530A carries 12 jewels, an alarm complication, a zero-reset seconds hand, and a chronograph that reads to 2/100 of a second over a 12-hour range. Citizen cased the movement in steel sport chronographs around 38 x 43 mm, sometimes with gold-toned accents, and sold it under multiple case and dial combinations of its own; the same movement was also supplied to other brands, including Breitling, Dugena, Camel, Accurist, Sector, Junghans, and Zentra, for their own co-branded chronographs.
