Dolphin watch

Dolphin is a South Korean domestic watch brand that Inscobee's watchmaking division, in business 53 years by its own count, launched in 1984; it built its following largely through bids to supply South Korea's military PX system, becoming a near-standard purchase for young men entering mandatory service. (eToday) The brand still sells inexpensive quartz field and digital watches, including the long-running 469-series digital chronograph shown here, through its own idolphin.co.kr storefront. Trade press coverage of Inscobee's own corporate press release credits two K-drama sightings, Kim Sung-kyun's Lee Jae-man in Moving and Ryu Jun-yeol's Kim Jung-hwan in Reply 1988, with carrying Dolphin's recognition beyond Korea, though neither appearance is identified to a specific reference.
