The Fossil Star Wars R2-D2 Watch Set (reference LE1169SET, $370) is one of two automatics in Fossil's Star Wars x Fossil collection of May 4, 2023, licensed from Lucasfilm Ltd. for the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi. Its 40 mm stainless steel case houses a Japanese automatic movement beneath a dial built around an applied, stamped and printed R2-D2 frame in blue, gray and white, with a minute hand shaped like the droid's repair-tool arm and a day/night indicator carrying a lume-filled Rebel emblem, on a 20 mm three-link steel bracelet. Each individually numbered watch ships in a collector's box with a replica movie-ticket lapel pin. It is licensed merchandise, not a watch shown in the film.
