The Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph descends from the octagonal-bezel, integrated-bracelet Laureato sports watch Girard-Perregaux relaunched in 1996, one year before Girard-Perregaux received a cease-and-desist over the resulting "Olimpico" name from the International Olympic Committee. Girard-Perregaux redesigned the Laureato line in 2016 and continues to sell a 42 mm chronograph within it today.
