The Hamilton Khaki 6311, catalogued as the Khaki Action Auto, is the field-watch generation Hamilton sold around 2000 before the brand switched from four-digit case codes to the later H-prefixed references (the same watch became the H624xxx series by 2003–2004). Its signature is a hooded crown guard: a steel bridge over the winding crown that gives the 40 mm case a purpose-built, almost Panerai-adjacent look, engineered so the date can still be corrected with the guard in place. Inside is the workhorse ETA 2824 automatic, driving a black dial with luminous Arabic numerals and a date at three.
