The Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic is the self-winding entry point to Hamilton's military-heritage Khaki Field line, built on the plain, high-legibility field-watch dials the company supplied to the U.S. armed forces from the First World War onward. It pairs a stainless steel case with a black or white dial carrying luminous Arabic numerals, a 24-hour inner track, and a date window, on either a steel bracelet or a leather or NATO strap, and is offered in 38, 42, and other case sizes running the Swiss ETA 2824-2-based H-10 automatic caliber with an 80-hour power reserve. (Millenary Watches) Hamilton's own historical film-credit page places a Khaki Field Automatic on Hilary Swank's Amelia Earhart in Amelia (2009). (Hamilton)
