The Hublot Big Bang Unico Black Magic is the all-black ceramic execution of Hublot's in-house Unico chronograph, sold in case sizes from 42 to 44 mm with a black ceramic case, bezel and caseback, "Black Magic" being Hublot's name for the ultra-resilient all-black ceramic treatment it has applied across the Big Bang line since 2006. The self-winding Unico movement, unveiled in 2010 as Hublot's first in-house chronograph caliber, is a column-wheel, flyback chronograph with a 72-hour power reserve, visible through a skeletonised dial that leaves the movement on display, cased in the multi-layered, exposed-screw construction Hublot has used across the Big Bang line since 2005. Boss Hunting identifies the watch Patrick Schwarzenegger's Saxon Ratliff wears in the season three opener of The White Lotus as this "Black Magic" execution of the Unico, before he switches partway through the season to a Rolex Milgauss, ref. 116400GV.
