The IWC Aquatimer Chronograph IW376804 arrived with IWC's new Aquatimer generation at SIHH 2014. Its SafeDive system links the external bezel to an internal timing ring through a sliding clutch. Turning the external bezel moves the timing ring; the cover at 9 o'clock protects the clutch. (IWC; SJX Watches) Behind the black day/date dial, IWC's caliber 79320, a modified ETA/Valjoux 7750-family automatic, runs at 28,800 vph with 25 jewels and roughly 44 hours of reserve. The 44 mm steel case takes a convex, double anti-reflective sapphire crystal and IWC's quick-change bracelet fitting, and is rated to 300 metres. (IWC)
