The IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XV 3253 succeeded the smaller Mark XII in 1999, growing the case to 38 mm while keeping the line's concave lugs, soft-iron antimagnetic shield, screw-down crown, and screw-down case back. It ran IWC's automatic calibre 37524, an ETA 2892-based movement with 21 jewels and a hacking function, later switched to calibre 30110 in the line's final production years, beneath a black dial with white Arabic numerals and a date window.
