The IWC "TV Screen" is vintage collectors' name, not a marketing term, for a 1970s IWC tonneau case with a squarish, rounded-corner crystal that reads like the picture tube of an old television set, distinguishing it from IWC's true square and cushion-cased dress watches of the same era. Dealers document the shape on the automatic calibre 8541B, a hacking-seconds movement also used across the related Yacht Club family, in period examples such as reference 1872.
