The IWC TV Screen 1423 is a steel manual-wind dress watch from IWC's early-1970s catalog, its rounded tonneau case giving rise to "TV Screen," the collector nickname vintage dealers use for this family of IWC shapes (also seen on references 1872 and 2572). Jackroad's own photographed example shows a plain silvered dial with baton hour markers, no date window, and the printed "IWC International Watch Co. Jackroad's costume-loan archive first credited Joe Odagiri's widowed professor Seiji Hirokawa with an IWC "TV Screen," naming no specific reference, across two separate posts about the WOWOW drama Eerie: Invisible Face.
