The Jaeger-LeCoultre Geomatic is a 36 mm automatic dress watch Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced in 1962 as a more elegant follow-on to the tool-oriented Geophysic of 1958, produced in limited numbers, roughly 2,000 steel and 1,500 gold examples, into around 1970. Every example was independently chronometer-certified, an unusual distinction for a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch of the period, running on the automatic calibre K881G, a chronometer-grade variant of the K881. Renji Ishibashi wears the reference in Specials, per costume-loan supplier Jackroad's records. (Jackroad)
