The Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Calendar applies a full calendar to the house's signature reversible watch, whose case swivels within its carriage to hide the dial, a design born in 1931 so that polo players could flip the crystal to safety. The elongated rectangular steel case measures roughly 29.9 mm across and 48.5 mm including the lugs, fitted with a sapphire crystal over a silvered dial. Twin apertures below twelve show the day and the month, while a sub-dial at six combines a pointer date with a moon-phase aperture. Driving the display is the Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 843, running at 21,600 vibrations per hour with about a 45-hour reserve. (Prestige Time)
