The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Eight Days debuted in 2003 as a 200-piece platinum limited edition, built around the manufacture's in-house Calibre 875, whose twin series-coupled barrels store a full eight days of power reserve, tracked by a fan-shaped indicator on the dial alongside a day/night display; the watch won the Special Jury Prize at that year's Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. Later Master Eight Days models, including perpetual-calendar executions, carried the related Calibre 877. The line has run in steel, two-tone, and solid rose or white gold cases across its production.
