Le Rhône is a French watch microbrand founded in 2013 by Loïc Florentin and Timo Rajakoski, named after the Gnome et Rhône aero-engine maker of the same city. The Moön Black Cosmic is built around an oversized moon-phase display: a 9.9 mm brushed-metal moon disc, laser-engraved with crater detail, revolves behind an aperture cut into a black dial whose surrounding "sky" is sapphire crystal etched with a starfield and filled with Super-LumiNova so the stars glow in the dark. The 41 mm steel case is water-resistant to 100 metres and houses a Soprod M100 automatic base fitted with Le Rhône's own moon-phase module, worn on a black alligator strap with a moon-shaped folding buckle.
